Do you take new photographs?
Varnell Lens processes photographs supplied by clients. The services on this site cover image preparation, background and composition refinement, catalog standardization and batch processing. A new photo shoot is outside this scope.
What should I prepare for a quote?
Have a representative set of source images, the approximate image count and your required dimensions, file formats and intended use ready. Any background rules, product margins or naming conventions help define the work accurately.
Are the listed prices fixed?
The listed prices are starting rates for the stated scope. The final quote depends on image quality, editing complexity, quantity and output requirements. The price and delivery schedule are confirmed before paid work starts.
Can photographs from different suppliers be standardized?
Yes, where the source material allows it. Cropping, orientation, background treatment and dimensions can be aligned across a collection. Images that are too small, heavily compressed or significantly out of focus may need to be replaced.
How are revisions handled?
The written quote specifies the review stage and any included revisions. Corrections that bring the files into the agreed specification are distinguished from new creative directions or additional work.
How long will processing take?
Timing is agreed after the source images and brief are reviewed. Batch size, complexity and feedback affect the schedule. If you have a target date, include it with your project request so it can be considered before work is accepted.
Who owns the supplied photographs?
You keep the rights you hold in your original photographs. You must have permission to submit and edit them. The rights to use final deliverables and the treatment of working files are described in the agreed project terms.
